Verdandy separates the dress into two distinct textures: a sheer silk organza blouse with a removable V-neck front and long buttoned cuffs, layered over a pleated maxi skirt in a viscose-polyester crepe that catches light differently with every fold. The open back keeps the organza from feeling heavy, and because the blouse is removable, the gown can shift from a fully covered ceremony look to a lighter reception silhouette without a second dress. The pleating is set densely enough to hold its structure through a full day of wear rather than flattening out. Every Verdandy gown is drafted to your own measurements and hand-finished at our atelier in Ansignan, France, ready in 10 to 12 weeks.
