If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@lutienbridal.com. We respond within 30 days.

Terms & conditions
Last updated: January 2026The consultation
The initial personal sketch is offered free of charge. It is created from the complete brief and references you submit and is intended to help define the direction of a possible Lutien gown. There is no obligation to place an order after receiving it.
Order confirmation
An order is confirmed when you have approved the final technical drawing and made the required payment (in full or the agreed first instalment). No fabric is cut before this approval. By confirming an order, you agree to these terms in full.
Pricing
Fully custom wedding gowns start at €1,490 or US$1,890. The final price depends on the fabric, construction and decorative details and is confirmed before production begins. No rush fee applies when an order is confirmed 6 months or more before the wedding. If the wedding is less than 6 months away, the rush fees are €500 at 5 months, €700 at 4 months and €1,000 at 3 months. We do not accept orders with less than 3 months remaining.
Payment
Orders up to €2,500 require payment in full at confirmation. Orders over €2,500 may be split into 2–3 instalments as agreed in the proposal. All payments are processed securely. Partial payments do not constitute a confirmed order until the full deposit or first instalment is received and the technical drawing is approved.
Changes after confirmation
You may request design changes until the final technical sketch is approved. The technical sketch records the agreed design, construction details and measurements and serves as the basis for production. If you request a design change after approving it, the additional charge starts at €600 to cover new fabric, pattern development and atelier work. The 10–12 week production timeline restarts from the date the revised design is confirmed. A mock-up is not a standard stage for every gown; it may be recommended for a complex design or a disputed construction detail and will be included in the individual proposal.
Intellectual property
Sketches, technical drawings and design documents produced by Lutien Bridal remain the intellectual property of Lutien Bridal until full payment is received, at which point design rights in your specific gown transfer to you. We may photograph finished dresses for our portfolio unless you request otherwise in writing before shipment.
Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute not resolved amicably will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Perpignan, France.
Shipping policy
Last updated: January 2026How we ship
All gowns ship from Ansignan, France via express courier — typically DHL or UPS Express. Your dress is steamed, folded in acid-free tissue, placed in a garment bag, and packed in a rigid box. You receive tracking details by email on the day of dispatch.
Delivery times
- United States: 3–5 business days
- European Union: 2–4 business days
- Rest of world: 4–7 business days
These are courier estimates once the package is dispatched; they do not include production time.
Duties and taxes
We ship DDP — Delivered Duty Paid — to the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada and New Zealand. Duties and import taxes for these destinations are paid before delivery. Orders delivered within the European Union do not pass through import customs because Lutien Bridal is based in the EU. For all other countries, import duties, taxes and customs charges are the customer's responsibility. Please check your destination country's import requirements before ordering. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities.
Insurance
Every shipment is fully insured for its declared value. In the unlikely event of loss or damage in transit, we file the insurance claim and work with you on a resolution. To be eligible, any visible damage must be documented with photographs immediately upon receipt, before removing the dress from the packaging, and reported to us within 24 hours.
Final approval before shipment
We share professional photographs of your completed gown for your approval before dispatching. This is your final opportunity to raise any concerns. Once approved, the gown ships within 1–2 business days.
Returns & cancellations
Last updated: January 2026All sales are final
All sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges on collection gowns or custom gowns because every dress is made specifically for the bride and cannot be resold. This does not affect our commitment to resolving a verified manufacturing defect.
Why we don't accept returns
We are committed to the highest level of craftsmanship and quality in everything we make. Every gown is tailored to your unique measurements and cannot be resold — we do not keep pre-made stock in standard sizing, because we believe in a truly personalized experience. That means each dress is created just for you.
Our quality commitment
Our artisans hold every order to the highest production standards to ensure it meets both your expectations and ours. If your dress arrives with a design defect caused by our manufacturing, we will make it right with alterations or a replacement.
Reporting an issue
If anything is wrong with your order, contact us within 7 days of receiving your dress and we will do everything we can to make it right.
Free sketch request
The initial sketch request is free and does not require checkout or payment. Submitting a request does not create a production order or reserve an atelier slot.
Contact for disputes
We handle everything directly. Write to hello@lutienbridal.com and a member of our team will respond within one business day.
