Terms & conditions
Last updated: January 2026The consultation
The €69 sketch consultation is a paid design service. It includes a hand-drawn sketch created specifically for you, a curated fabric selection, and a design discussion. The fee is non-refundable because the design work is done on your behalf. The original sketch is mailed to you regardless of whether you place an order. The €69 is credited in full toward your order price if you proceed.
Order confirmation
An order is confirmed when you have approved the final technical drawing and made the required payment (in full or the agreed first instalment). No fabric is cut before this approval. By confirming an order, you agree to these terms in full.
Pricing
All prices are quoted in EUR. For US deliveries, the quoted price is all-inclusive: production, shipping and customs duties. For other destinations, duty treatment is confirmed in the individual proposal. Rush surcharges depend on the wedding date: €500 at 5 months, €1,000 at 4 months, and €1,500 at 3 months. Orders less than 3 months before the wedding are not accepted.
Payment
Orders up to €2,500 require payment in full at confirmation. Orders over €2,500 may be split into 2–3 instalments as agreed in the proposal. All payments are processed securely. Partial payments do not constitute a confirmed order until the full deposit or first instalment is received and the technical drawing is approved.
Changes after confirmation
Design changes requested after fabric has been cut may incur additional charges and timeline extensions. We will always discuss feasibility and cost before making any change. Minor adjustments during the production process (at milestone photo reviews) are handled case by case at no extra charge wherever possible.
Intellectual property
Sketches, technical drawings and design documents produced by Lutien Bridal remain the intellectual property of Lutien Bridal until full payment is received, at which point design rights in your specific gown transfer to you. We may photograph finished dresses for our portfolio unless you request otherwise in writing before shipment.
Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute not resolved amicably will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Perpignan, France.
Shipping policy
Last updated: January 2026How we ship
All gowns ship from Ansignan, France via UPS Express. Your dress is steamed, folded in acid-free tissue, placed in a garment bag, and packed in a rigid box. You receive tracking details by email on the day of dispatch.
Delivery times
- United States: 3–5 business days
- European Union: 2–4 business days
- Rest of world: 4–7 business days
These are courier estimates once the package is dispatched; they do not include production time.
Duties and taxes
For US deliveries, customs duties and import taxes are included in your quoted price — nothing will be charged on arrival. For all other destinations, duty treatment is confirmed individually in the proposal. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities.
Insurance
Every shipment is fully insured for its declared value. In the unlikely event of loss or damage in transit, we file the insurance claim and work with you on a resolution. To be eligible, any visible damage must be documented with photographs immediately upon receipt, before removing the dress from the packaging, and reported to us within 24 hours.
Final approval before shipment
We share professional photographs of your completed gown for your approval before dispatching. This is your final opportunity to raise any concerns. Once approved, the gown ships within 1–2 business days.
Returns & cancellations
Last updated: January 2026All sales are final
At this time, all items are final sale and not eligible for return. We encourage you to review your description and photographs carefully before confirming, to be sure the dress is truly what you want.
Why we don't accept returns
We are committed to the highest level of craftsmanship and quality in everything we make. Every gown is tailored to your unique measurements and cannot be resold — we do not keep pre-made stock in standard sizing, because we believe in a truly personalized experience. That means each dress is created just for you.
Our quality commitment
Our artisans hold every order to the highest production standards to ensure it meets both your expectations and ours. If your dress arrives with a design defect caused by our manufacturing, we will make it right with alterations or a replacement.
Reporting an issue
If anything is wrong with your order, contact us within 7 days of receiving your dress and we will do everything we can to make it right.
Sketch consultation fee
The €69 consultation fee is non-refundable. The original sketch is yours to keep, and the fee is credited toward a future order at any time.
Contact for disputes
We handle everything directly. Write to hello@lutienbridal.com and a member of our team will respond within one business day.
