The consultation

The €69 sketch consultation is a paid design service. It includes a hand-drawn sketch created specifically for you, a curated fabric selection, and a design discussion. The fee is non-refundable because the design work is done on your behalf. The original sketch is mailed to you regardless of whether you place an order. The €69 is credited in full toward your order price if you proceed.

Order confirmation

An order is confirmed when you have approved the final technical drawing and made the required payment (in full or the agreed first instalment). No fabric is cut before this approval. By confirming an order, you agree to these terms in full.

Pricing

All prices are quoted in EUR. For US deliveries, the quoted price is all-inclusive: production, shipping and customs duties. For other destinations, duty treatment is confirmed in the individual proposal. A rush order surcharge of €1,500 applies when agreed in writing before production begins.

Payment

Orders up to €2,500 require payment in full at confirmation. Orders over €2,500 may be split into 2–3 instalments as agreed in the proposal. All payments are processed securely. Partial payments do not constitute a confirmed order until the full deposit or first instalment is received and the technical drawing is approved.

Changes after confirmation

Design changes requested after fabric has been cut may incur additional charges and timeline extensions. We will always discuss feasibility and cost before making any change. Minor adjustments during the production process (at milestone photo reviews) are handled case by case at no extra charge wherever possible.

Intellectual property

Sketches, technical drawings and design documents produced by Lutien Bridal remain the intellectual property of Lutien Bridal until full payment is received, at which point design rights in your specific gown transfer to you. We may photograph finished dresses for our portfolio unless you request otherwise in writing before shipment.

Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute not resolved amicably will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Perpignan, France.
